League structure
Extancy League organises competition into five levels. The first level exists for onboarding; the second is the competitive tier running today; the third is entered by qualifying from it; and the final two are architecture-ready levels that open as the competition grows.
Every level above Starter League is decided by verified match activity, which means the league table is a record of football played rather than a statement of intent.

Standings
League standings are calculated from matches that have been played and confirmed inside the platform. A confirmed match produces the result, the goals for and against, the points, and the qualification progress that follows from it. Teams are ranked within their region, and qualifying matches are counted separately from other fixtures.
Qualification
Live League entry is built on a published threshold rather than an invitation. A team needs 30 verified matches against 10 unique opponents, with at most 3 qualifying matches counted per opponent. Only 22 teams qualify per region, so table position matters as well as the threshold.
A team whose qualification requirements are met is reviewed against the regional slot limit before promotion. Teams that do not qualify remain in Community League and continue building a record. The progression path is described step by step on the how it works page.
Integrity
League position is not purchasable. Membership plans change how much a participant can do in a day, sponsorship buys visibility around the competition, and neither has any effect on standings, match verification or promotion. Only confirmed football moves a team up or down. The community integrity policy describes the fair play expectations behind that rule.
Teams enter competitive football after their manager and players complete onboarding. If you are exploring the ecosystem first, the league levels above explain exactly what each team is playing for.
Standings tables, region filters, qualification detail views and league join actions are part of the signed-in leagues workspace. This page explains the structure without requiring an account.
