How it works
Extancy League is one ecosystem with a defined sequence. A participant joins, completes onboarding, becomes part of a team, plays documented matches, and then appears in the parts of the platform that depend on verified activity: league standings, qualification progress, leaderboards, scouting records, tournaments and sponsorship.
This page describes that sequence as it exists on the platform today, including the parts that are still being opened stage by stage.
The journey
Create an account and choose a role
Participants register with a username, contact details and a role: player, team manager, referee, assistant referee, scout, analyst or fan. The role determines the workspace and the actions available, and roles are never granted by a membership plan.
Complete Starter League onboarding
New participants complete the Starter League journey: platform education and community tasks that introduce the rules, the league structure and the integrity expectations before competitive participation begins.
Join or create a team
Team managers create a team with its name, community, local government, city, state, playing ground, badge and description. Players join squads through the platform, and supporters can follow teams.
Arrange and play documented matches
Teams arrange fixtures through match requests or quick match sessions. Match officials are assigned to the fixture, and the result is confirmed so that it can count as verified activity.
Build league standings and promotion progress
Verified matches update regional league tables, qualification progress and promotion status. Live League qualification uses verified results only.
Enter tournaments
Teams register for published tournaments, hosts confirm registration and payment details where required, and competition structures are generated and published on the platform.
Become discoverable to scouting
Verified statistics combined with profile and consent settings determine what scouts and analysts can see when they search for players by activity, location or form.
Attract support and partnership
Teams, tournaments and leagues can be supported by sponsors through defined placements, and the platform carries advertising as a separate monetisation layer.
Onboarding
User onboarding only. Teams are not competitively ranked here. The onboarding journey gives every new participant the same context: how the platform records activity, how league levels work, how officials confirm matches and what integrity rules apply. Competitive football then begins in Community League, the first competitive tier.
Because every participant passes through the same sequence, teams that meet in Community League are operating under the same understanding of the rules — which is what makes the standings meaningful.
League progression
Community League tables are calculated from verified matches. Live League qualification requires 30 verified matches against 10 unique opponents, with at most 3 counting matches per opponent, and it is also limited to 22 qualifying teams per region.
Regional teams that qualify from Community League enter this higher competitive tier. Architecture-ready tier for future elite regional competition. Architecture-ready championship tier. The full progression path is described on the league levels page.
Discovery and support
Once a record exists, three things become possible. Teams can be seen in regional standings and take promotion seriously. Players become searchable in the scouting layer, subject to their own visibility settings. And the competitions and communities that generate the activity become credible partners for sponsors and advertisers.
The scouting layer is explained on the scouting page, commercial participation on the sponsorship page, and operational limits on the membership page.
Application
Arranging a match, confirming a result, joining a team, managing a squad, handling payments, using the wallet and searching scouting records all require a signed-in account and are authorised on the server. Public pages such as this one, the league levels and the policy pages remain readable without an account, so anyone can understand the ecosystem before joining it.
Registration starts Starter League onboarding. If you want to understand the competition structure first, read the league levels page — it explains exactly how a team progresses from Community League toward Live League qualification.
Accounts are required to use the Extancy League application. Public pages such as this one remain readable without signing in.
